Nautical Retreat

Ahoy Maties! Whimsical decorations of the sea fill this three bedroom & two bath getaway cabin. An inviting open floor plan with lofted ceiling houses the living room, kitchen & dining with one bedroom and one bath on the main floor, and includes a washer/dryer. The upper level features 2 bedrooms with access to the upstairs covered porch, and a shower bathroom. Relax enjoying the view anytime in a rocker on the wrap around porch off the main level.

The Bunkhouse

This roomy five bedroom & two bath cabin is perfect for a large family get together or youth group trip. The living room boasts comfortable furniture with an open kitchen and dining area, and includes a washer/dryer. Decorated county style with bucket light fixtures and stair rails of natural wood, the main room is accented by the gas log fireplace. One bedroom and one bath on the main floor with the remaining four bedrooms and one full bath on the second floor. Generous covered wrap around porch to enjoy summer evenings.

Golfer's Retreat

Newly built two bedroom and one bath vacation home with all the amenities wrapped up in a quaint cabin in our lakeside town. Open living area with dining and well appointed kitchen to make you feel at home. When its time to unpack, choose either the main floor bedroom or the loft bedroom up the spiral staircase. Enjoy the pond view from either one of the two covered porches while rocking your cares away. Your group will enjoy the newly added level walkway from parking behind the cabin and benched sun deck and cookout area.

Fisherman's Retreat (handicap accessible)

You'll be reeling in a great catch with this 2 bedroom, 2 bath vacation cabin with loads of amenities, including a washer/dryer. There is an easily accessible ramp access at the front door. The stone, wood burning fireplace greets you as you walk into the cozy living room. The dining room offers a large table for game playing or dining. For a quick meal enjoy eating at the counter in the galley style kitchen. Each bedroom has it's own bath plus one is handicapped accessible. Relax on the back deck overlooking the pond that’s just a stones throw away. The front of the cabin has a fully covered drive-through car porch.

Hunter's Retreat

One bedroom & one full bath vacation home with all the amenities and a full size laundry room wrapped up in a quaint cabin located next to our second pond in your back yard! Open living area with dining and well appointed kitchen, with bar counter area to make you feel right at home. The full length covered porch on the front of the house overlooks the front entrance of Kudzu Cove. This cabin has a large attached covered car porch.

Kudzu Cove cabins are rented and managed by Kudzu Cove LLC and have just what you are looking for; Fishermen, Hunters, Golfers, Boaters, and all those who enjoy the Outdoors will find the cabins at Kudzu Cove a special place for relaxation and adventure conveniently located just off the banks of the Tennessee River. This cabin rental development has five unique cabins that can accommodate from two up to sixteen people.

We are located on the Northside of Buck Island in a secluded woody area, just minutes from Guntersville, Alabama where you will feel miles away from the rest of the world. Conveniently located across the bridge from Guntersville and a short drive from Birmingham, Gadsden, Huntsville, or Scottsboro. Future plans include more cabins, a pavilion for reunions and weddings, more groomed and primitive hiking/biking trails, and boater's lodges.

Kudzu Cove is located on over 80 acres and adjoins almost 350 acres of pristine State Park woodlands available for your enjoyment. In just a 5 minute hike on the Trails, you will be able to explore the shores of the Tennessee River.  Or you can just stay at Kudzu Cove, relax and take in all of the views or fish at any of our three ponds (catch and release).  The tranquility of the beaver dam at the edge of the pond is great to sit and watch from the Gazebo.

All cabins include fully stocked linens, kitchen supplies, a charcoal grill, and decks or balconies.  Power hook-ups and connections for hoses are available at each cabin.

We have plenty of parking for trucks and trailers with easy access to Guntersville Lake boat launches just a few miles down the road. Guests can request discounted golf available at Gunter’s Landing when you book at our cabins for a week or longer.
